About Simon

I was raised in Bristol, England, with a dream to fly aircraft, joining the Royal Air Force in 1998. Officer Training and Flying Training prepared me for operational flying and an adventure that would see me fulfilling my childhood dream, surrounded by incredibly talented people.

My career exposed me to the highest levels of professionalism and standards. I led teams of all sizes in a variety of high profile arenas. Additionally I was twice given the opportunity to embed within other Air Forces, namely the United States Air Force and the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

I finally ‘farewelled’ the military, retiring and returning to the UK in 2021.

Transition from the military was the ultimate experience of bravery and needing to lead myself. I embarked on an ILM Level 7 Diploma in Senior Level and Executive Coaching and training to become an emotions practitioner. Coaching is having someone hold up a mirror in front of you. Coaching taught me to be fearless and to accept that being human is hard yet so rewarding.

I have coached clients from the United Kingdom, the United States of America and New Zealand. I am always interested in new approaches, learning new cultures and challenging traditional barriers.

My promise to clients is to contract for coequality, to create safe, ethical opportunities for learning and reflection, and to challenge traditions and the status quo. Psychological safety and confidentiality are incredibly important to me. I am proud to be an associate member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (UK) and proud to commit to their coaching code of conduct.
